Affiliate Terms
of Service
Please read these terms carefully before participating in the GIMI Affiliate Program. By joining the program you agree to be bound by these terms.
Program Overview
The Global Import Mastery Institute (GIMI) Affiliate Program allows registered members to earn commissions by referring new students to purchase courses on the GIMI platform at globalimportation.com.
By creating an account on the GIMI platform, you are automatically enrolled as an affiliate and accept these terms in full. Participation in the affiliate program is voluntary but subject to the rules outlined in this document.
Eligibility
To participate in the GIMI Affiliate Program you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid registered account on globalimportation.com
- Provide accurate personal and payment information
- Agree to and comply with these Affiliate Terms of Service
- Not be engaged in any fraudulent, deceptive or illegal activity
GIMI reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate affiliate accounts at any time for any violation of these terms.
Commission Structure
Affiliates earn commissions on qualifying course purchases made through their unique referral link. Commission rates are determined by your affiliate rank:
- Starter Affiliate — 40% commission on every qualifying sale
- Active Affiliate — 45% commission on every qualifying sale
- Master Affiliate — 55% commission on every qualifying sale
All new affiliates begin at the Starter rank. Rank upgrades are automatic and based on performance metrics tracked within the affiliate system.
Commission rates apply to the net course price excluding any taxes, fees or discounts applied at checkout.
Multi-Level Commission (MLM)
The GIMI affiliate program operates on a two-level commission structure:
- Level 1 — You earn your rank commission rate on every purchase made by someone you referred directly through your referral link
- Level 2 — You earn a bonus commission on purchases made by people referred by your direct referrals
Level 2 commission rates are set by GIMI and may change from time to time. Current rates are visible in your affiliate dashboard. GIMI reserves the right to modify the MLM structure with reasonable notice to affiliates.
Referral Tracking
Each affiliate is assigned a unique referral link and ID. A sale is attributed to you when:
- A visitor clicks your unique referral link
- They complete a purchase within the tracking window
- The purchase is not cancelled or refunded
GIMI uses cookie-based tracking. The referral tracking window is set at 30 days from the initial click. If a customer clears their cookies or uses a different device, the referral may not be tracked.
GIMI is not responsible for lost referrals due to browser settings, ad blockers or other technical factors outside of our control.
Qualifying Purchases
Commissions are earned on qualifying purchases only. The following do not qualify for commission:
- Purchases made by the affiliate themselves using their own referral link
- Purchases that are subsequently cancelled or refunded
- Purchases made through fraudulent or manipulated referrals
- Free or discounted enrollments granted by GIMI administration
Commission Payments
Commissions are tracked in real time and visible in your affiliate dashboard. Payouts are processed as follows:
- Minimum payout threshold: XAF 10,000
- Payout methods: MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, bank transfer
- Processing time: 3 to 7 business days after payout request
- Payout requests can be made from your affiliate portal
GIMI reserves the right to hold commissions for up to 14 days after a sale to account for potential refund requests. Commissions from refunded sales will be reversed.
It is the affiliate's responsibility to provide accurate payment details. GIMI is not liable for payments sent to incorrect accounts provided by the affiliate.
Permitted Promotional Methods
Affiliates may promote GIMI courses and their referral links through the following methods:
- Personal social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc.)
- WhatsApp groups and direct messages
- Personal websites or blogs
- Email newsletters to opted-in subscribers

- Changes to payout methods or minimum thresholds
- Modifications to the MLM structure and level percentages
- Changes to tracking windows or qualifying purchase rules
We will make reasonable efforts to notify affiliates of significant changes via email or through the affiliate portal. Continued participation in the program after any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

- Violation of any of these terms
- Fraudulent activity or abuse of the program
- Prolonged inactivity (no referrals for more than 12 months)

Upon termination, any pending commissions from legitimate qualifying sales prior to the termination date will be paid out at the next payout cycle. Commissions from fraudulent activity will be forfeited.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
GIMI makes no guarantees about the amount of commission you will earn as an affiliate. Your earnings depend entirely on your own effort, reach and the performance of your referrals.
